1. Payment Policy
1.1 Currency
Unless otherwise stated, prices are quoted in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR).
Any currency conversion displayed or discussed is indicative unless the payment provider confirms the final exchange rate.
1.2 Deposit
A deposit may be required to secure a reservation.
The applicable deposit amount will be communicated before booking confirmation.
For certain reservations, a 50% deposit may be required.
Bookings made close to the departure date may require full payment.
1.3 Final Payment
Unless different terms are stated for a specific booking, the remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before departure.
Bookings made within 14 days of departure may require full payment at the time of booking.
1.4 Accepted Payment Methods
Depending on availability, payment may be accepted through:
- Bank transfer
- Credit/debit card through an authorized payment provider
- Wise
- Other payment methods specifically offered by Labuan Bajo Trip
Available payment methods will be communicated at the time of booking.
1.5 Transaction Fees
Bank fees, international transfer charges, card processing charges, currency conversion charges, or other transaction fees may apply.
Any fee charged directly by Labuan Bajo Trip will be disclosed before the customer completes payment.
Charges imposed independently by the customer’s bank or payment provider are outside our control.
1.6 Payment Confirmation
A reservation is not considered fully secured solely because a customer has initiated a transfer.
Payment must be received and verified.
After verification, Labuan Bajo Trip will issue or communicate the relevant booking/payment confirmation.
1.7 Price Changes
Once a reservation has been confirmed and paid according to the agreed terms, Labuan Bajo Trip will not arbitrarily change the agreed tour price.
However, government-imposed charges, National Park fees, taxes, regulatory charges, or other mandatory third-party charges may change.
Any applicable additional charge will be communicated transparently.
2. Booking Policy
2.1 Booking Request
Customers may request a booking through our website, WhatsApp, email, or authorized sales channels.
A booking request does not automatically guarantee availability.
2.2 Availability
Boat, cabin, hotel, guide, and transportation availability may change quickly, particularly during high season.
Availability must therefore be reconfirmed before payment.
2.3 Booking Confirmation
A booking is considered confirmed after:
- Availability has been confirmed by Labuan Bajo Trip;
- The customer has agreed to the applicable itinerary, price, inclusions, exclusions, and booking conditions;
- The required payment has been received and verified; and
- Labuan Bajo Trip has issued or communicated booking confirmation.
2.4 Passenger Information
Guests may be required to provide:
- Full name
- Gender where required for manifests
- Nationality
- Date of birth
- Passport number
- Passport copy
- Other information required by harbour or government authorities
Failure to provide mandatory information by the required deadline may affect the guest’s ability to participate.
2.5 Open Trip
An Open Trip is a shared tour.
Guests booking an Open Trip acknowledge that:
- The vessel is shared with other passengers.
- Common areas are shared.
- Departure procedures may depend on all participants.
- The itinerary is operated for the group as a whole.
- Reasonable adjustments may be made for operational or safety reasons.
2.6 Private Trip
Private Trip pricing is based on the agreed vessel, duration, itinerary, passenger number, and services.
Changes to passenger numbers or requested services may result in price adjustments where communicated and agreed before the changed service is provided.
2.7 Special Requests
Requests relating to:
- Dietary requirements
- Honeymoon arrangements
- Photography
- Drone use
- Cabin preferences
- Private guides
- Airport transfers
- Other special arrangements
should be communicated before confirmation.
Special requests are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
2.8 Drone Use
Drone operation in Komodo National Park may require permission and additional government fees.
Guests must comply with applicable regulations.
Labuan Bajo Trip cannot guarantee approval of drone permits by the relevant authorities.
